Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Medical Superintendent/Head Medical Admin located in Vadodara. The Medical Superintendent/Head Medical Admin will be responsible for managing the medical and medical administrative activities of the hospital, including ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, managing contracts and budgets, and overseeing clinical and non-clinical departments. They will also be responsible for defining and achieving clinical excellence goals, managing patient care and experience, and mentoring and developing staff.

Qualifications

  • A medical degree (e.g. MBBS) from a recognized institution, and additional qualification (MD/MS/MHA/MHSM/MBA (Hospital Management))
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role or experience in an administrative/managerial position in a large organization, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Strong knowledge of medical ethics, procedures, and principles, and of hospital management systems and processes
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage a large and diverse team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment, and to manage multiple and competing priorities
  • Proficiency in computer applications and hospital management software
