Based in Bangalore, we cater primarily to the Tier 1 and Tier 2 segments of the automotive industry across South India. Committed to delivering quality products and exceptional service, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced New Business Development Manager to lead our expansion efforts and drive business growth.

Job Overview:

The New Business Development Manager will be instrumental in identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities from Steel Consuming Industries in South India. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to increase market share, by identifying and developing potent potentials. This role requires a proactive and results-oriented and flamboyant individual.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Identify and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders in various steel consuming industries across South India.

2. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure identification of prospects via referral engines.

3. Identify the prospects and ensuring adherence with the sales policy of the company.

4. Lead negotiations and close deals with potential clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.

5. Work closely with the Operations team to choose prospects who fall within the good serviceability bracket of the company.

6. Analyze sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to make data-driven decisions and adjustments to strategies.

7. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on new business development initiatives and progress.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field or Btech – Mech

2. Proven experience in new business development within the steel distribution industry, with a focus on automotive clients will be an advantage.

3. Strong understanding of the Tier 1 and Tier 2 segments of the automotive industry in South India along with other major industrial hubs.

4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

5. Willingness to travel extensively as required.
